An incredible setting and even better company, San Diego Magazine‘s Women Who Move the City event on September 15 was a special evening filled with an oceanfront of remarkably talented women.

Our very own Skybox Creative President Angelina Sereno was one of nominees up for the coveted “Woman of the Year” award that went to Theresa Drew of Deloitte & Touche LLP. Skybox Creative, San Diego’s award-winning web design and branding studio, caught up with several nominees, including Angela J. Pierce of The Princess Project and Jennifer Oliver of Young Audiences.

Held at the stunning Scripps Seaside Forum in La Jolla Shores, information booths, a live band and a some very unique performance art speckled the ocean view landscape. A woman dressed to look almost like an ice sculpture in a fountain with water flowing from her fingertips entertained guests.

Skybox Creative, an award-winning web design and branding studio in San Diego, rang in its 4th birthday with an evening at La Jolla’s Prospect Bar and Grill on September 3. A great way to kick off the Labor Day weekend, clients and industry friends gathered, including president of Vigor Systems, Magnus Sorlander, president of Super Warehouse, Russ Schneider and iGlobal Group, Inc. Director of Sales Debra Frank.

Even one of Skybox President Angelina Sereno’s former professors at the Art Institute, Richard Ybarra, attended to congratulate the team on another successful year of growth amidst the competitive San Diego design firm circuit.

Now in its 5th year, Skybox Creative continues to cultivate its service offerings to include expanded content management website capabilities and new products on their green printing website – Skybox Ink. Customer service remains the back bone of the business, and their zest for the creative speaks loudly in clients’ results after collaborating with the Skybox team.

Skybox Creative spent an evening mingling and mixing at the Golden Triangle Chamber Networking Event on February 10 at P.F. Chang’s in University Town Center.

The monthly event included a casual meet and greet, raffle prizes and induction of new members. Natural Health Technologies sponsored the event and provided the evening’s delicious appetizers.

Skybox staff had the pleasure to meet a wide-range of business professionals, including Charles Dixon Garrett of Primerica Financial Services, and Toni Sanders, director of special events for Perfection Squared. Sanders is also on the Chamber board, and is their trusted event planner.

Other attendees included Spa de La Jolla and Marty Gladstein of Glad Photography.

The Golden Triangle Chamber mixers are the second Wednesday of every month. The next one is at La Jolla Brewhouse and starts at 5:30pm. They are a great way to meet a lot of interesting professionals in varied industries, and you never know who might need what you have to offer.
