You already know Skybox Ink offers extraordinary Offset Printing, but now we also offer Digital Printing. Each printing method has it’s own advantages. We are offering both as part of our continuing efforts to offer you the most product options!

Offset Printing

Our Offset products offer the highest printing quality available. Offset is the perfect option for standard orders with quantities from 250 to 50,000+ pieces. We currently offer nine standard stocks, with several printing and coating options.

Digital Printing

The power of Digital is in it’s flexibility. Options that would not be affordable for offset, become practical. This includes small quantities under 250 pieces, variable data, custom stocks, and even faster turnarounds!

As a bonus, our specific technologies allow us to offer a variety of coatings; including spot, and dimensional. Check back soon for more details on the product options we will have available.

The Secret’s Nichols, also author of the best seller, No Matter What, spoke to a Point Loma Marriott ballroom full of female (and some male) entrepreneurs at the National Association of Women Business Owner’s annual BRAVO! Awards Dinner Wednesday night.

Skybox Creative and Skybox Ink President Angelina Sereno was honored during the evening as a nominee for NAWBO’s Green Community Award, which was won by the Artisan Design Group, a green interior design and architectural firm. Skybox Creative staff had the pleasure of meeting Jenny Lemmons of A Better Way to Say It, an online marketing firm, and Elizabeth Smiley, a CPA with Squar Milner during the evening festivities.

The event, which included a silent auction, cocktail hour and three course dinner, was highlighted by speaker Lisa Nichols’ inspiring sentiments regarding unlocking the entrepreneurial spirit.

Skybox Creative (Branding + Web Design) and Skybox Ink (Green Printing) are moving! Due to our growing success and need for more wiggle room, we are moving to a larger suite. We love the central location of our office, so we’re staying in the same building, just moving a few doors down. Please take note that our suite number is changing from 111 to 127 starting next Monday – May 24th, 2010. Our new office has a nice welcome area for clients to lounge and for small meetings.

Surrounded by the luxurious ambiance of Sé Hotel’s Sîren Uber Lounge, Skybox Ink, in association with Skybox Creative, held their second Green is the New Black Mixer on March 18^th, 2010 in Downtown San Diego. The night consisted of networking with eco-friendly professionals and entrepreneurs, a sponsored raffle prize giveaway, and numerous photo opportunities taken in front of our gorgeous blue Skybox Ink step and repeat banner (created by 858 Graphics).

Sponsors for the night’s event included Eco Corp Home Services, Casalinda Studio Designer Jewelry, Eufora, and eLiveLife.com.

Skybox Ink made our way to the PIAexpo 2010 at the San Diego Convention Center on February 25. The event boasted a wide variety of printing and related industries. It was a great place to check out the best new paper stocks, coating options and everything innovative happening in the printing industry. A huge theme echoed throughout the event was eco-friendly printing, and we were happy to spread the word about Skybox Ink’s use of green materials such as recycled stocks and soy/vegetable based inks.

Skybox had the chance to meet with Adam Hale of Blend, a well-branded printing company who prides themselves on exceptional digital printing. As we got to chatting about coating options and elaborate branded materials, Hale pointed us in the direction of Creative Coatings, a company in San Diego that specializes in unique coating treatments.

We also stopped by the Mohawk Fine Papers booth and picked up some of their latest samples, as well as In To Ink Letterpress, which had some truly beautiful invitations and envelopes. They describe their letterpress work as:

“having a look and a mystique that is not able to be replicated on an offset press. There is texture and dimensional feel to many letterpress projects. There is also the opportunity for the project to be more of a hands-on crafted piece. We strongly encourage any of our clients utilizing our letterpress department to be press side during the creation of their project. The newest division of Skybox Creative, www.skyboxink.com, was recently announced at our third year anniversary mixer celebration. No doubt it has come at a good time, nowadays more and more people are becoming conscious of making earth friendly decisions. Thank goodness! This has always been a topic very close to my heart, so I am especially proud to launch a sub-division of Skybox Creative that offers green printing products. Not only are we becoming more eco-friendly, we are offering our products at insanely low introductory wholesale pricing for a limited time!

We use soy and vegetable based inks and Zero VOC solvents on ALL of out printing jobs in order to reduce air pollution and improve employee safety. Clients, guests, industry friends and influential San Diego business associates celebrated 3 years of Skybox Creative last night at downtown’s hottest new venue, S√® San Diego Hotel’s Siren Pool and Uber Lounge.

Close to 200 guests attended the award-winning web design firm’s milestone mixer and enjoyed a balmy summer evening on the luxurious pool deck. Newly made acquaintances toasted upcoming and exciting business ideas during the networking themed event.

An expansive raffle included an array of products and services, including a logo giveaway from Skybox and printing services from their latest venture – Skybox Ink – a full-service green printing website offering wholesale prices to the public.
